IMPORTANT MESSAGES TO USERS ----- please read:
MMS/YRIS is supported within a PC-Windows (Versions 7 – 10) environment running the Internet Explorer browser.

NOTE: Only Internet Explorer (IE) is supported as the base Browser at this time. We are currently addressing the issues within our software.

In ALL versions of Internet Explorer (IE) you must be in COMPATIBILITY VIEW Which is set within Tools from the Menu Bar.

NEW! ################################## UPDATED 11/2/2020 ################################# NEW!

We are very much aware that Microsoft will bid farewell to IE and support for 365 applications and legacy Edge in 2021 which is now set for August 17, 2021. The support for Microsoft Team web applications in IE ends November 30, 2020 which will not change anything in our application or anything for our users.

Microsoft also notes that IE will not be completely phased out of existence because of legacy applications in IE 11 as it will continue to work. This is because many organizations have legacy applications or software that uses proprietary Internet Explorer technologies which MMS does.

From a security standpoint Microsoft suggests that after the cut off, IE users should not be using IE to just “SURF THE WEB”. However, please keep in mind, MMS is a comprehensive integrated application for maintaining all current and historical information in a database. Therefore, accessing that secured information requires the continued use of IE with MMS until we complete the following:

Having anticipated Microsoft’s ending support for IE, we have been working on converting MMS from IE and moving it to Chrome for the past few years. It has been a challenge since Chrome does not support some of the existing IE technologies & functions currently in use. This required us to rewrite various aspects of the software in order to maintain the current “look, feel and integrity” of the system.

We had a goal of 1st quarter of 2020 for completion and implementation using Chrome. The combination of priority management and Covid-19 directly impacted our development teams working on the conversion to Chrome. This has put our completion date back several months. I’m happy to report we are back on schedule with full staffing and our goal is to have Chrome for the 6 national bodies which we now support converted off of IE to Chrome by the end of 2020 or first part of Q1 2021. The Dues Module is in the works and will be available by the end of Q1 2021. (please note the Chrome browser will be released prior to the Dues Module)

Windows 10 Users
MMS/YRIS works in Windows 10 with the IE 11 Browser. Windows 10 comes with IE 11 and Edge installed but IE 11 is hidden by default. Follow the link below for instructions on adding IE 11 shortcut on your Windows 10 machine.

MAC Users
Mac users you should either move to a PC with Windows or move to software that can be loaded onto the Mac that provides you Windows and Internet Explorer (IE) functionality. Today there are two such products – Parallels and VMWARE Fusion both will support Windows and IE on the Mac.
